Doll Body
Assembly

This is The Foot. It allows your doll to stand without a doll stand.
First foot: Strip an inch and a half of coating off of your  covered copper bell wire. Do not nick the wire. Form a hook, put the cuff of the leg into the groove, pinch with pliers and twist gently.  Wrap excess wire together lightly. Bring wire up straight into the "v" at the back of the leg.

Pinch and twist...

Strip wire.

Second foot:
Bend wire and insert into doll body. Measure from top of doll's head to her heel ,not the shoe heel. Repeat pinch and twist...

Things you need to finish this kit:
Scissors
Velverette Glue or thick, tacky glue.
Pliers
Wire strippers
Ruler
Craft yarn
Acrylic paints for The Foot
Paint brush
Fingernail polish topcoat-clear

Measure.

Feet will stand when wired together.

Run pipe cleaner through body and glue ONE arm into place. Insert legs.

One method of forming the body is to wrap craft yarn smoothly up and down wire legs until it inserts firmly into body. Then form hips using a figure 8. Tuck end into body.

Figure 8 for hips. Pinch apex to keep constant distance.

So far so good...This is important to the proportion of your finished piece: AB=CD
The height of the doll (
not counting her high heels) is the same as her fingertip to fingertip distance. Measure and add the second arm.
